The British Middle Class

As the new ‘Middle Britain’ report shows that there are over half of the population say they are working class (53%), and over four in ten Britons (43%) now see themselves as middle class.

In fact, as the article said, the number of Britons who regard themselves as middle class has risen by nearly a half (44%) in the last 40 years. It means there is a trend that the middle class population will become more and more in the future.

To compare the middle class and working class people, it is not hard to find that the people, who are middle class, can earn more money than the working class, but with easier work. Furthermore, the middle class people can get better insurance and education than working class people.

In my opinion that is why more people wish they could be the one of the middle class.
